For the Vision Festival’s 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award honoring Roscoe Mitchell, I developed a visual and motion design approach that reflects his groundbreaking contributions to avant-garde jazz and creative music. The animation and graphic design pay tribute to his signature sound—layered, intricate, and deeply exploratory—by incorporating abstract motion, rhythmic visual patterns, and a bold yet refined typographic style.
